Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Silver Bison LLC ("Silver Bison", "we", "us") governing your use of the Goblix mobile application (the "App") and the website at playgoblix.com (the "Site", together the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Goblix. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Accounts and handles

Goblix creates an anonymous account for you on first launch. You may pick a public handle (for example, @yourname). You are responsible for keeping your handle, your device, and your Apple ID secure. If you lose access to your device, you may lose access to your collection; we can't recover an account without an identifier.

Handles that impersonate another person, include slurs, or target a specific user are not allowed. We may reclaim, rename, or suspend offending handles at our discretion.

3. Acceptable use

Don't do any of the following in, on, or through the Service:

• Harass, threaten, or target another user. Goblix is a game, not a weapon.
• Send sexually explicit, hateful, or violent content through the challenge text field.
• Impersonate another user or pretend to be affiliated with Silver Bison.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract data from our Cloud Functions or database beyond what the App's own UI exposes.
• Circumvent rate limits, exploit bugs to mint rare Goblix, or script the challenge flow.
• Use Goblix for anything illegal, including child sexual abuse material, which we report to law enforcement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account we reasonably believe is violating these rules, with or without notice.

4. Content you send

The challenge text you attach to a trap is user-generated content. Before a challenge is delivered, it passes through our moderation pipeline (profanity filter, targeting scrubber, length caps). You retain ownership of your content; by sending it through Goblix you grant Silver Bison a limited license to store and deliver it to the recipient for the purpose of running the game.

5. Goblix+ subscriptions

• Pricing. Goblix+ is offered at $6.99 USD per week, $14.99 USD per month with a 3-day free trial, or $49.99 USD per year. Pricing shown in the App may differ based on your App Store region.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• How to cancel. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings on iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Goblix+. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Free trial. If you use the 3-day free trial and don't cancel before it ends, you'll be charged for the first billing period.
• Refunds. All App Store purchases are processed by Apple. Silver Bison cannot issue refunds directly. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Changes. We may change subscription pricing or features. If we do, the new price or feature set applies to the next billing period after we notify you; you may cancel before it takes effect.

6. Virtual goods

Goblix creatures, traits, and any other in-game items have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money or exchanged outside the Service. They are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use inside Goblix. We may modify, suspend, or remove virtual goods as part of normal game operation. If we permanently shut down the Service, we will give you reasonable notice.

7. Intellectual property

Goblix, the Goblix name, the Goblix logo, the four series (Furlings, Tearkins, Bonebuddies, Puck-eyed Pals), and all artwork, code, and game mechanics are the property of Silver Bison LLC and are protected by US and international copyright and trademark law. These Terms grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal entertainment only.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account in the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we decide to discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; data handling after termination is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Silver Bison's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Silver Bison in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) twenty US dollars ($20). Silver Bison is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Dispute resolution and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

Nothing in these Terms waives any non-waivable consumer right you may have under the law of your place of residence.

12. Apple-specific terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Silver Bison, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple; Apple will refund the purchase price of the App, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will also be communicated in the App. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
